The Repopulation: November 2012 Update Features

The Repopulation developers are taking advantage of the new Hero Engine 2.0 but we won't find out exactly how they do it, probably not until January. Waiting for the new features of the Hero Engine v2.0, November update is still worth looking at as it seems to introduce several new features and gameplay improvements such as the new Entertainment Skill Line and Den upgrades. The Repopulation: November 2012 Update

When Hero Engine 2.0 is available, we will most definitely see drastic changes in The Repopulation, the sandbox MMORPG that takes place on the planet Rhyldan where human race fight to continue its existence. In the latest developer diary, we discover all the latest gameplay changes and additions to the sandbox MMORPG. 

The most striking feature is the new social system: Entertainment Skill Line. Think of this as 2nd Life in The Repopulation. Players will be able to entertain other players through music, storytelling, dancing and other social skills. Those who participate in these entertainment events in any way, actively or passively, will see benefits from it, in the form of long term buffs. The events will either take place in the social areas or player-owned temporary places.

Another major feature is the update to the game's PvP system. Developers have introduced a number of improvements and additions. First of all they have improved the PvP related extensions and made it easier to identify opposing factions. 

Another November addition to The Repopulation is the new cooties system that introduces new engagement types. Players will be able to teleport to these for testing. 

A new challenge is always exciting and players will find a new challenge as the developers have upgraded the Dens. With this update, players will need to clear waves within a time limit and if they do that, a more powerful wave will be on the line. It will get harder and new bosses will show up when players continue to clear the waves in a row.
