Last weekend they announced a new Gateway that allows players to access their game accounts via any device with internet connection. Desktop PC's, laptops, smartphones and tablets. Star Trek Online Gateway Allows Players Access Accounts From Anywhere

Accessibility is important when it comes to online games. Sometimes, we don't have access to our powerful desktop PCs and we still need to access our in-game information, whether we need to update our inventory or buy a new item. Last week, Star Trek Online's developer revealed their new web application, a new gateway for Star Trek Online players.

This new Star Trek Online Gateway will allow players to access their basic account information. In the version that's live for testing, players can view player status, currently equipped items, ship status and equipped ship items, bridge officer status and its own equipped items as well as accolades.

Right now, players need to copy their current accounts to the Tribble Test Server to test Star Trek Online Gateway.
