Firefall Invites Players to Beta Weekends

Firefall is an amazing shooter that has been in Beta for a long time. Today, thousands of fans have been sent invitations as Red 5 has announced a series of Beta Testing events to begin this weekend. Red 5 has also announced the return of Founders Packages that come with in-game items, XP boosts as well as free merchandise such as Firefall posters. Firefall Beta Weekends & Founders Packs return

For the impatient fellow, let's begin with Firefall Beta Weekend Schedule; It's Nov 30-Dec 2 and Dec 7-9. Two Beta Weekends for Firefall means thousands of new players invited to Copacabana. This also means further stress-tests for developers. 

We have said this before but it never gets old. Firefall has been in Beta literally for years. It's almost like the game's title is now Firefall Beta. It's probably the most sophisticated shooter game that is still in Beta. This doesn't mean Firefall is not to compete well against other AAA shooters. It surely does. First of all it's extremely entertaining. Nothing is like grouping with friends, taking a thumper and go for Crystite mining. It works even better at nights. (Fun!)

That's one of the coolest items in a shooter game. 

So what's a Founders Pack? Similar to many Founders Packs that you see in other MMOs, Red 5 Studios had launched the Founders Program a few months ago and they were extremely happy with results. The game is in Beta but it already has a well established community with thousands of hardcore fans of the game. (including us). The Founders Packages come in three different sizes. Commander, Lieutenant, Ensign. Each pack comes with free virtual currency that's worth at least the amount you pay to buy the pack. So the rest of the package contents are practically for free. The top tier pack, the Commander comes with a personal transport vehicle. This is the coolest item in Firefall. In long term, the best item is the 15% XP boost. It's a permanent boost and it also rewards your squad members (10%). So don't worry about the Beta tag if you like what you see this weekend in Firefall Beta and consider getting one of those Founders Packs. We give you our word, you won't regret it. Have fun!
